Optimization Process
Search Engine Optimization is the technique of improving your Website's placement with search engines. It is well documented that unless
your site appears within the first 10 results and on the front page of a search, most people will not see your listing.
There are two ways to improve your search engine effectiveness: Pay-per-Click advertising campaigns (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization
(SEO). SEO is described below. Please talk to one of our account representative to learn more about PPC.
The SEO process starts by defining what "Key Phrases" will be targeted to point to your Website when a search is performed. Often we
will find that the initial list of phrases are not the best options available and we will help to refine this list.
A baseline benchmark is then performed to see how your site currently ranks according to the selected key phrases. A report is generated
from these results (see example below).
Our SEO team will then explore your Website in detail and restructure it to utilize the latest search engine placement techniques. This
will often require changes to the actual content of the Website. A balance must be maintained so that your original message is not lost.
Your Website will then be submitted to all the most popular search engines with the changes in place. We must wait for the search
engines to fully register the SEO changes made before we can continue the process. This will take about a month each time.
The SEO team will then evaluate each of the targeted Key Phrases against the search engine databases and generate a Progress Report
showing the new results. It is rare that the first round of changes produce the desired results. We then enter into a process that
reevaluates the site armed with the Progress Report data and make further changes according to the results. This cycle is continued
until the desired results are achieved. This typically takes about 5 months.
